Initially envisioned as a five-year, $125 million fund, the Intel Capital Diversity Initiative was expanded in October 2016 to also invest in startups led by entrepreneurs living with disabilities, U.S.-based entrepreneurs from the LGBTQ community, and U.S. military veterans. Through September 2019, Intel Capital Diversity Initiative has invested $381M in companies led by diverse teams; such companies make up 15 percent of the active portfolio. All Intel Capital investments cover a broad spectrum of innovative industries, including artificial intelligence, autonomous mobility, data center and cloud, 5G communications and next-generation compute. The Innosphere Ventures program focuses on ensuring companies are investor-ready, connecting entrepreneurs with experienced advisors, making introductions to corporate partners, exit planning, accelerating top line revenue growth, and so much more! While the Innosphere Ventures incubator program does not take equity in companies, the Innosphere Fund evaluates all companies to be considered for seed stage investments of up to $150,000 at the beginning of the company’s Innosphere engagement.
