The DEC Network

Your Level Up Cohort 2023

Your Level Up is designed for entrepreneurs looking to scale and build a sustainable pathway to capital.

This is an 8-week accelerator intended for post revenue businesses. Eligible applicants must: have 2 to 5 years in business, generate $50,000 or more in annual revenue $50,000 or more, and be established as a for profit legal business entity.

Become a Vetrepreneur

Warrior Rising mentors veterans at any point in the process of starting their own business, whether it is only a concept or if they have actual operations.

B-Force Accelerator

A 12-week intensive for black and Latinx businesses that are at least 2 years old to prepare them for capital access. Must be located in Norfolk.

Training program for business owners that have annual revenues of at least $250,000 and have been in business at least 3 years and have at least one employee.

Got student loans? What small business owners need to know

Student loan payments are frozen through the end of 2022 and partial student loan forgiveness may be coming for millions of federal borrowers. This change could ease the burden of small business owners across the country who are struggling to pay off their debt and run their businesses.

ChallengeHER is a national initiative to boost government contracting opportunities for women-owned small businesses with a special focus on the Women-owned Small Business (WOSB) Federal Contracting Program. ChallengeHER delivers free workshops, mentoring, and direct access to government buyers.

Employee Retention Calculator

The Employee Retention Credit (ERC) was created by the federal government to help ease the financial hardship caused by the COVID-19 pandemic on small businesses. Employers who are eligible for ERC, can receive tax credits in exchange for qualified wages and health plan expenses paid to (and on behalf of) employees.

In an effort to aid our local businesses and business professionals, Colorado Mountain College is offering no-cost coaching, live educational trainings and consultation services to in-district businesses (see CMC District Map) during this time of need. CMC Faculty are ready to support you in this time of need. Through connection to faculty, we are able to provide personalized answers to your questions, link you to resources and provide tools to get you back to business. CMC is offering free educational training and live webinars to get you back to business. We are enlisting the support of CMC faculty and community content experts in developing these educational resources.
