Pathways to Entrepreneurial Growth

Business ownership can help people become financially independent, support job growth and strengthen local economies. But ending systemic wealth inequality is not a simple task. Building wealth from within our communities for generations requires resources and education in business planning, financial literacy, access to safe capital and much more.

Small Business Majority has partnered with Rogers Park Business Alliance and New Covenant Community Development Corporation to offer a series of free workshops to help entrepreneurs start and grow a thriving business. Entrepreneurs can attend any session but are encouraged to complete all four parts of the Pathways program.

Workshops in the series:

Part 1: Know the Landscape

The Cost to be the Boss

By Shaniqua Ford, LCSW of Soul Werk Cafe

This workshop will offer attendees practical tools and resources to strengthen and maintain psychological fortitude and emotional wellbeing throughout the entrepreneurial journey. We will also explore common mental health challenges experienced by entrepreneurs.

Part 2: Create a Plan for Success
