We are in the process of working with philanthropy and other partners to increase the funds available, with the intention of increasing the number of small businesses that can be served through this program. Employers eligible to cover part of their employees wages if employees see a reduction in hours of at least 10% and no more than 60%. Other guidelines exist for eligibility.

NMEDD is adjusting its business-loan guarantee programs in order to make capital more available to business owners whose operations are severely impacted by the COVID-19 health emergency.

Rapid Response Program

**Update** Due to COVID 19 restrictions, many AJCs are temporarily closed or shifted to virtual services.

Employers planning a closure or major layoffs as a result of the corona virus can get help through the Rapid Response program. Rapid Response teams will meet with companies to discuss needs, help avert potential layoffs, and provide immediate on-site services to assist workers facing job losses.
